North Face Boot Review: Junk plastic on toe, disintegrating               Same exact issue. Sorry for all others who had to deal with this, merely Conspicuously information technology'southward a blueprint flaw. I bought these for a trip to the mountains and never wore them after. Seriously, I live in Los Angeles Angeles—wintertime boots aren't exact a must-have to alive here. Anyway, they're barely used and well taken care of. Yet, nosotros pulled them out of our shoe container to find them cracked and disintegrating. The interior is pristine… Full review

I have primarily used these snowmobiling, ice angling and snowshoeing, from temperatures of +3C to -30C. I call up I accept gotten a very skillful thought of these boots at this betoken. I could non find zero-drop boots that were warm enough for Canada, and finally came across these mukluks. I got a wide, as other brands were besides narrow. They fit very comfortably, and I've used them for almost xx trips with absolutely no issues with cold, even when my hands/face become common cold (about -30°c). Very happy with them. Would buy again. I've used these for over two years now and I am very pleased. I as well take a pair of Sorel Caribou, but those stay in the closet now that I have these. I can hike all mean solar day in them. I've noticed the liner gets moist from perspiration. When backpacking on 1 trip my toes got common cold in the evening even though the temperature was just near xxx°F. I solved this problem past using a vapor barrier and by carrying a spare set of liners (purchased from Kamik website). The moist liners dry overnight in my sleeping… Full review

The N Face Chilkat IV

These boots are quite warm, which is good, simply I got most ten uses out of them over two years before the outsole delaminated and the rubber all around the boot started to crack. I bought these boots to wear when snowshoeing and when walking around ski areas. I got about 10 uses out of them, and they were very warm. The sole on the right kick started to fall off, and the safe around the residual of the boot began to scissure, then I tried to take them back to REI, but REI claims their "lifetime" warranty… Full review

Used these boots less than 12 times and they roughshod apart. These beauties should be appropriately named the Chilkrap boots, because that is what they are crap! Total review

Warm, good fit, stable grip. I don't have a photo of these and no longer ain them, merely I used them in the Chill for 3 years with adequately good success. The only times they failed me were when continuing long in ane spot past a seal hole in the coldest times in nighttime season (below -45°C). In these cases the issue was easily resolved by local Inuit trick of standing on a winter caribou fur mat. I now own the like Epic boot and love it, but needed two sizes upward to avoid cutting off the apportionment. Full review

Sole non stitched, simply glued. There are a lot of expert points about this boot. However, the fact that the sole is not stitched, but it's made to look similar it is, gives me pause. Actually it gave me a boot for where sole came completely off. And I was left with the lace-upwardly ankle high moccasin. Very disappointing. Full review
